God Save The King
GOD SAVE THE KING is a new parish anthem written to celebrate the Coronation of HM King Charles III by acclaimed Welsh composer Christopher Wood.
Choirs across the land can share in the joy and celebration of this wonderful occasion, and at no cost too: vocal scores, recordings, learning resources are available free of charge by using the online order form below.
The work was recently recorded by the L’Inviti Singers and the London Sinfonia, directed by Jonathan Rathbone (see video below) and will receive its public premiere on Saturday 29 April, when it is to be performed by the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra in the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford.
It is available in two formats – S/A/T/B & Organ or S/A/Men & Organ. To enable choirs everywhere to perform this piece we offer free, comprehensive resources to anyone who requests them.
